When it comes to solving a problem, to most effective way to help achieve long lasting results is to get down to the root cause.
In Week1 we dived into Foundations. The home, our programming & influence from our childhood & upbringing.
This week we dive into what helps drive behaviour.
When looking at behaviour, when we're looking to create change we ultimately want to look at what's driving the behaviour.
Our 3 main drivers behind behaviour is:
This week we dive into Values & Habits.
Our Values are what matter to us most & Habits are what we do most often.
These 2 aren't necessarily always in alignment with each other!
When they aren't is where we can often find ourselves experiencing internal conflict & out of integrity with ourselves.
Some examples of being out of integrity with Values might be..
I value health yet I know I smoke & drink way too much.
I value family yet I rarely spend quality time with them.
I value success, independence & freedom however I struggle to be consistent & disciplined.
Some examples of being in integrity with your Values might be..
I value health which is why I train daily, follow a meal plan, and dedicate time for mindfulness.
I value family so plan weekly, monthly & yearly times for us to share quality time together.
I value success, independence & freedom so I have coaches & mentors that help support me to perform & grow to bring the best out of me.
As you dive into this weeks tasks & assignment we explore where your Values come from & address an ineffective behaviour that you would like to overcome with a task for you to monitor over the following week.
Make sure you take the time to be present & apply yourself with this weeks task so you can come back ready to dive into it on next weeks call.
