Whether it is Strength Training or Cardiovascular Exercise, physical exercise is part of your everyday lifestyle.
Our approach to Exercise & Training will be the same as our approach to everything
K.I.S.S - Keep It Super Simple!
The easier it is to follow, the easier it is to maintain. This will always create a great base to build & progress from.
With your Strength Training we going with 2 options:
OPTION 1: Full Body Workout 2-3 x WK
OPTION 2: Push / Pull / Functional
With your Cardio we going with 2 options:
OPTION 1: HIIT - High Interval Intensity Training
OPTION 2: LISS - Low Intensity Steady State cardio
What we would you like you to focus on with your training is - PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD.
What this basically means is improving in some way each time you train.. Whether itβs 1 rep more, 1kg more, or even something as simple as better technique each time you lift, or maybe slowing down the tempo of your repetitions of an exercise to increase the amount of time under tension your performing, small progress is still progress, over time these improvements all add up. That increase in stress is how you provide a stimulus to your body to stimulate change. Change leads to results.
All your workouts for the above programs can be accessed via your Trainerize App.
Whether you follow our programs which are available to you, or utilise your own training program or have your own PT, what matters most is that you are following & are committed to sticking to a program for the duration of your Empowered Woman program!
